ORLANDO VEA is one of the country’s leading
technology entrepreneurs by being the co-,founder of
Smart Communications and Chief Executive Officer
of Mediaquest, a company that delivers news,
entertainment, education and other information
through the use of satellite, cable, fiber , wire or
wireless networks to a television, mobile phone, PDA,
PC, movie screen or any digital broadcast receiver.
Orlando Vea
JOEY GURANGO started his IT career
back in 1982 when he got a job with
Apple computer as a product support
engineer for the Lisa computer , the
predecessor to the Macintosh . In
1986, he worked as a programmer at
Microsoft on version 1.0 of Excel for
Windows in Redmond, WA. He moved
back to the Philippines in 1991 to

Diane Eustaquio is a prominent
figure in the Philippine ICT and
startup ecosystem. She is best
known as the Executive Director
of IdeaSpace Foundation, a
non-profit organization that serves
as a pre-accelerator, incubating
and accelerating early-stage tech
startups in the Philippines.
Her contributions in the field of
ICT primarily revolve around
fostering entrepreneurship and
innovation, particularly in the
technology sector.
Diane Eustaquio
Steve Jobs of the Philippines;
the Chief Visionary and
Founder of Orange Apps
which is a cloud-based
platform where schools and
universities can manage
multiple processes like
student enrolment, grades,
HR and payroll.
Gian Scottie Javelon
DENNIS ANTHONY H. UY was born in 1966
in China. In 1977, he and his family
migrated to the Philippines. He co-
founded Jack’s video, a Betamax and VHS
rental, established Angeles City Cable
and Television Network and founded
ComClark Network, and Technology
Corp., which is now Converge IT
Solutions, Inc. in 2023, Uy was appointed
by Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as his special
envoy to Korea for digital transformation.
