I. GCC STUDENT
DISCIPLINE
Promulgate reasonable
norms, rules and
regulations that are
necessary to be followed
consistently to promote,
maintain the right,
acceptable behavior
and order.
II. OBJECTIVES
AND PURPOSE
OF DISCIPLINE
The two-fold purpose of
discipline in a Christian
school.
1.to bring the student to
maturity in Christ.
2. to develop qualities of
good citizenship

REGULATIONS
TO FOLLOW
A. PUNCTUALITY
AND ATTENDANCE
All students must be punctual in
attending virtual or onsite classes,
chapel and official meetings.
Tardiness and absences without
good reason will not be excused.
1.TARDINESS
A student is marked tardy and
deducted
.5 pt from deportment or conduct
grade if he/ she is not in the virtual
or onsite classroom right after flag-
ceremony, after recess, noon
break, and in subsequent period.
2. ABSENCES
A student who cannot attend
virtual or onsite classes or any
other activities due to sickness or
other unavoidable conditions must
submit an excuse letter prepared
by his parents.
• The student should submit an
excuse letter duly signed by
either the student’s parent or
guardian. Failure to submit letter of
excuse will mean unexcused
absence. There will be a deduction
of 1 pt. in conduct grade for
unexcused absence.
• Excused absences are granted
only to those who are sick;
attending important affair;
attending a funeral service or
public affair or with permission
by the supervisor.
• Those who could not comply
with the requirement within
three (3) days will be
considered as having
unexcused absence
• For absences during
examination week, doctor’s
certificate is needed to take
the make-up test/s.
• Absences other than sickness
must be approved in advance
by the supervisor for make-up
A student who accumulates
absences equal to twenty
percent (20%) or more of
the total number of required
school days shall be
automatically dropped from
the enrollment list and no
credit is given for the course
or subject.
3. CUTTING
CLASSES
Student who reported in virtual or
onsite class but disappeared will
be deducted
3 pts. from his/ her deportment/
conduct grade. His/ her absence in
class without valid reasons will not
be excused. No make-up test or
activities given to student who
cut classes.
Students should be
in the regular classroom
from Mondays to Thursdays
7:15 AM to 4:00 PM
Flag Ceremony
7:15 AM to 7:30 AM
and on Saturdays
8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
SILENT MOMENT
OPPORTUNITY (SMO)
When ever the student comes to
school before the official time, he/
she should observe silence. This is
an opportunity for him/ her to
prepare for the day’s activities.
This is also an opportunity for a
student to have his/ her personal
devotion or study quietly.
FLAG CEREMONY
• The students prepare for flag
ceremony. There should be no
talking, giggling, inattention.
• Singing of the National Anthem is
followed by a recitation of
Commitment to the Bible or
Pledge of Allegiance, Verse for
the Week and Prayer. Absolute
silence is required. Afterward,
proceed to the virtual or onsite
classroom quietly.
HOMEROOM
Homeroom period is
the time with the
adviser. Attendance is
required.

I. HAIR
For boys: Hair should properly
trimmed around ears in keeping
with the natural hairline.
No sideburns and beard or
mustache be allowed. Dyeing
of hair are also not allowed.

For girls: Neatly combed hair;
bangs if any should not cover the
eyebrow; if shoulder length, hair
should be clipped or braided.

As will there only one pair of
earrings for girls. No dangling
earrings.
Boys are not allowed to pierce
their ears, nor wear earrings.

Shirts with collar for boys.
Blouse or shirt with collar for
girls.
C. BEHAVIOR
I. RESPECT
Students must observe courtesy at
all times. They must show respect to
school authorities and teachers they
meet. “Yes, Sir” and “Yes.
Ma’am” when answering teachers
and other adults is a sign of good
manners. No teacher is to be
address by his/her first name or
without Mr., or Mrs. or Miss attached
to his/ her last name.
C. BEHAVIOR
• Respect the classroom teachers
and classmates at all times.
• Submit a well prepared
requirement on time.
• Refrain from video or audio
recording of the teacher while
teaching. Much more uploading
the recording in social media.
You are reminded of the Data
Privacy Law.
II. MANNERS/ATTITUDES

Using obscene language,
shouting, whistling or
making any unnecessary
noise in the virtual or onsite
classrooms, chapel, or in
other activities is prohibited.

All students must develop the
spirit of encouraging fellow
students to do good deeds and
discouraging them from
wrongdoings. Oppressing,
intimidating and quarreling with
schoolmates/ classmates are
strictly prohibited.
NO “BULLYING” in school.
CYBERBULLYING
Through the use of internet (social
networking site); cellular phone,
personal digital assistant, computer or
wireless handheld device or any latest
electronic devices that is reasonably
perceived as being immoral, corrupt,
dehumanizing, intimidating, hostile,
threatening, or likewise likely to evoke
fear of physical harm, psychological or
emotional distress. This also includes
forms of retaliation against individuals.

Destroying of school
properties or equipment,
drawing or writing on the
wall, tampering and using
school property without
permission.
B. STEALING
Getting the things of others
with out permission

Practice of taking or using
someone else’s work or
idea and passing them off

without acknowledging the

I. PROMOTION
Promoting to the next year level
is by passing all English and
Chinese subjects; and/ or taking
and passing all subjects required
to be taken during summer
remedial program.

II. SUMMER REMEDIAL
PROGRAM
To those who failed in three (3)
or less units including Foreign
Language subject are required to
take and pass summer remedial
classes in order to be promoted
to the next level for the new
school year.

III. RETENTION
A student is retained in the same
year level on the next school
year if the student fails in more
than 3 units (including Foreign
Language) or did not attend or
pass Summer Classes.
F. GRADUATION
• It is required that graduating
students must pass all the
academic requirements in
English and Chinese.
Candidate students for
graduation who failed in any
academic subject shall not
participate in graduation
exercises.
F. GRADUATION
• Students will wear the school
uniform on graduation day.
Graduating students are
discouraged to organized or
join any off-campus
celebrations like graduation
balls, parties, or outings.
