*** RESET should be done after checking with service person.

-26-
10. FEEDER ADJUSTMENT
When “d”, “G” error occurs frequently during operation, it may need “Feeder Adjustment”.

Unstable note feeding may cause high reject owing to double feeding, feed error, often jamming,
skew feeding and recognition failure.

1) “d” Error (double Detection Error)

If gap between feeding rollers is wider, it often causes double feeding. In this case, turn the adjustment
knob(screw) count clockwise slightly and see the result.

ex) If it is, now, in position of “0”, turn it to” –1” . If it is turned too much, feeder may not feed the note
properly

2) “G” Error (Gap Error)

If gap between feeding rollers is wider or narrower, it also causes “G” Error. In this case, adjust the
knob(screw) correctly and see the result. (mostly in case, gap between feeding rollers is wider, it cause
“G” error as well)

Gap means distance between notes (for example. 1st fed note and 2nd fed note)

ex) If it is, now, in position of “0”, turn it to” –1” . If it is turned too much, feeder may not feed the note

11. JAM RECOVERY
1) When Jamming occurs during the operation, find error message on display (Stacker and Main) and
location of jamming.

2) Open the doors and covers like following picture and remove the jam.

3) While removing the jam, the operator should be careful not to damage any sensor or belt on the track.

4) If it gives error continuously after removing jam, check it again carefully if there is any piece of notes in
the track and make sure all the sensors are working properly.
