TODAY, TECHNOLOGY IS DEEPLY INTEGRATED INTO DANCE EDUCATION. MANY
SCHOOLS AND DANCE INSTITUTIONS USE DIGITAL TOOLS TO IMPROVE BOTH
TEACHING AND PERFORMANCE.
ONLINE PLATFORMS & TUTORIALS: YOUTUBE, TIKTOK, AND EDUCATIONAL WEBSITES OFFER DANCE LESSONS AND
CHOREOGRAPHY TUTORIALS THAT LEARNERS CAN ACCESS ANYTIME.

VIRTUAL LEARNING: DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, MANY DANCE CLASSES SHIFTED TO ZOOM, GOOGLE MEET, OR MICROSOFT
TEAMS, ALLOWING REMOTE INSTRUCTION AND FEEDBACK.

MOTION CAPTURE & VIDEO ANALYSIS: APPLICATIONS LIKE COACH’S EYE OR DARTFISH HELP ANALYZE BODY MOVEMENTS
FOR BETTER ACCURACY AND TECHNIQUE.
MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATIONS: TEACHERS USE POWERPOINT, VIDEOS, AND INTERACTIVE SLIDES TO
DEMONSTRATE DANCE HISTORY, FORMS, AND CULTURAL INFLUENCES.

SOCIAL MEDIA EXPOSURE: DANCERS USE INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, AND TIKTOK TO SHOWCASE
PERFORMANCES, GAIN FEEDBACK, AND PROMOTE THEIR ARTISTRY.
2. HISTORY OF DANCE EDUCATION

20TH CENTURY: FILM AND VIDEO RECORDING ALLOWED DANCERS TO STUDY PERFORMANCES REPEATEDLY.

LATE 20TH TO EARLY 21ST CENTURY: DVDS AND CDS BECAME POPULAR TOOLS FOR TEACHING CHOREOGRAPHY AND MUSIC
SYNCHRONIZATION.

MODERN ERA: THE RISE OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS, ONLINE CLASSES, AND AI-BASED MOTION ANALYSIS REVOLUTIONIZED HOW DANCE IS
TAUGHT, PRESERVED, AND PERFORMED.
