Remember that groundbreaking open source “Machine Learning Systems” textbook by a collaborative group of contributions of students, researchers, and practitioners, led by Professor Vijay Janapa Reddi at Harvard University? Well, we’ve turned those concepts into reality! Working closely with Professor Vijay Janapa Reddi and Professor Marcelo Rovai (UNIFEI), we’ve created a hardware companion that brings those textbook pages to life. It’s like having a Machine Learning Systems lab session right in your hands!
Powered by the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense with built-in camera and microphone, this XIAOML Kit includes an expansion board featuring a 6-axis IMU and 0.42″ OLED display, plus an SD card toolkit for data storage. Perfect for students, educators, and developers, the kit enables you to build practical applications in vision, sound, and motion following the textbook’s tinyML® Lab sessions. Think of it as your personal ML lab assistant – perfectly aligned with the curriculum and ready to help you explore every concept in the book.
