My professional purpose relates to a personal impetus to positively address and modify the status quos currently operating in public K12 education.
Given students are not overall achieving the outcomes set by public school districts, my attention is focused primarily on identifying how to cater curricula to directly meet the needs of every student.
These needs are not being addressed predominantly because teachers are unaware or misinformed about the root causes of student struggles as well as the appropriate interventions that would alleviate these struggles.
