Matt started his learning journey at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where his Japanese Coordinators began the re-programming process of his "thinking way". Beginning with the basics of material ordering and flow, to demand planning and eventually spearheading company wide projects, the puzzle pieces of the Toyota Production System began to click into place. From there, he applied TPS thinking and techniques in automotive and non-automotive environments, from basic process improvements, people development activities and business strategy all the way to culminating with the implementation of plant wide pull production and materials ordering systems.
