• A leader is a person; leadership is a process.
• A leader may have a designated position or title;
anyone can demonstrate leadership regardless of their formal role or title.
• A leader may focus on maintaining the status quo; leadership involves taking risks
and embracing change to achieve a desired outcome.
• Leaders may use their power to control others; leadership involves inspiring and
empowering others to achieve a common goal.
• A leader may lead by command; leadership involves collaboration and negotiation.

Pareto Principle (80/20 Principle)
• The 80-20 rule, also known as the Pareto
Principle, used mostly in business and
economics, states that 80% of outcomes
results from 20% of causes.

life, including at work and home, with
fitness and health, relationships, and
personal progress.
SWOT Analysis
• SWOT stands for Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and
Threats, and so a SWOT analysis
is a technique for assessing these
four aspects of your business.
