I am an award-winning patient advocate, consultant and researcher, who was the winner of the international WEGO Health Award for Patient Healthcare Collaborator in 2017. I am currently completing a PhD at the University of Leeds as a user researcher, where I am evaluating self-management tools used by children and young people with arthritis. I am also an active patient research partner on various national and international research projects and initiatives, in collaboration with various health and voluntary organisations.
