I worked for Aang Serian, a non-governmental youth organization (NGO) based in Arusha, from 2001 to 2006 as General Secretary and was responsible for all administrative tasks and running youth projects. From 2006 to 2009, I worked as Project Coordinator for an Indigenous Media Project. The former position was voluntary and latter was a paid appointment.
In November 2003 I graduated from the Training of Trainer course in Arusha, (TOT) in collaboration with Ungdoms Ringen in Denmark. The training was focused on: open youth work, group work, fostering active participation and involvement, organization development and personal competence.
