- 2. Q magazines contents page has quite a simple layout. It is highly textual but still uses images with the main stories. This has a much more subtle tone compared to my previous analyses. They have used colouring of red, black, white and a beige colour on their ‘Oasis special’ section. They have gone along with the theme of the magazine logo colours which is evident on the cover I analysed too however it is calmed down a tone with the black behind the main titles. There is a main image for the main and most popular story, there is also a thumbnail sized photo near the section of their reviews. Along the top right of the page they have the issue number, date and year of the magazine which keeps the readers in time with the magazine if they wanted to collect of keep them.
