I am a wife, mother and grandmother and family is all important to me. I write, am a published main stream author and at present concentrate on e-books of which I have written 17 and am in the process of writing number 18. I like to paint, mostly in oils but this is a hobby whereas writing is a compulsion almost an obsession. I was born dyslexic into an academically oriented family in the 1940's before the condition was recognised - that wasn't an easy combination. Over the years I have come to realise that dylexia has actually been a help as well as a hindrance; it brings blessings as well as trials.
