- 1. 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. And, as we love one another, people of this world can see the Love of God in us. God is like the wind ; we can't see Him , but we can see what He does in us and through us.
- 2. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. It is only in the Wisdom and Power of God's Holy Spirit that we can testify of Jesus. When God saves us, we are born of His Spirit, and He comes into us to live forever.
- 3. 1 Corinthians 12 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. This is true evidence of the Holy Ghost. "Jesus is Lord of my life, and Lord of all."
- 4. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. Intellectual consent to the truth doesn't save. The devils believe in God and Jesus. Just saying the right words doesn't save. Trust and obey, for there's no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
- 5. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love ; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. We know it with our mind and heart . We have experienced and enjoyed God's Love. When we get saved, we choose to exercise the faith God has given us, and believe in Him. But the moment that God comes into us, we know that we have believed the Truth!
- 6. "God is Love." Love is God's character . Everything God does is motivated by love.
- 7. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is , so are we in this world. - 8. An unloving Christian is unlike his Lord and may anticipate rebuke and loss of reward at the judgment seat. But a loving believer is one in whom the work of God’s love has been made complete …, and the fruit of that is boldness before the One Who will judge him. - 9. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Any person who truly understands how much God loves us, will have no fear . Psalms 84 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
- 10. "Fear hath torment." Anyone who has ever experienced that nagging, constant fear that we call anxiety Knows the truth of that statement. Fear is only useful if it bring s a sinner to Jesus or a disobedient child of God to his knees.
- 11. For an obedient child of God, here is Truth: 2 Timothy 1 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power , and of love , and of a sound mind . Power to do God's wonderful work. The ability to love as God loves. A disciplined mind to live life God's Way . God has given us His Spirit that we may rightly represent Him in this world, And lead lost souls to Jesus for salvation.
