Proposal 1 Centre Name and Number: York College 48357 Student Name and Unique Learner Number: Lily Ajaib 415314 Project proposal title and date: Lily Ajaib Portfolio and Showreel Main area of activity: Photography and videography Rationale: In this past year I have leaned how to use photoshop, adobe audition and premiere pro. I’ve created poster, edited photos, filmed and edited a music video, created my own foley and audio story, created advisement pieces, video game and animation etc. This has created lots of different skills that will help me in y production. Previously I have made posters and created advisement pieces which has helped me become familiar with photoshop that I will edit my photos in. when creating my music video, I used premiere pro and treated the project as if it was a showreel which will help me in this project. Projects like the audio unit and video game animation will be not relevant and will not have impact on this project. Project Concept: The concept for this project is to showcase what I want to in the future, and it is giving me an opportunity to showcase it on my website. I want to include concert photograph, portrait photography and a video showreel. Photography is a subject that I have always enjoyed, and I want to mix it with my other hobbies including concerts. I will do artist research including photographers like isy townsend, amy marie and Joshua halling which all have different styles of work. For my showreel I will do some research on what a showreel is supposed to look like and then look into further research in finding a specification creator. Looking at different artists and content makers will help me gather a general idea of what i would like to produce and hopefully will help me narrow down a specific path of what I want to do in the future. Doing some extra research on what makes a showreel interesting and how to keep my audience engaged will also be helpful for me. By the end of my project, I should have produced 15-20 photos that I am happy with as well as a 45 second -1-minute long showreel. How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: I will do a daily planner that will review my work from that day and then go into further detail of what I did to every photo/video to get too my final product. this is going to help me analysis this is going to help me analysis my thoughts and feelings process which is something I can look back on in the future to see my progress.
