- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Through the lens Product’s Purpose: What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? My products purpose is to entertain people, and educate them on how to take a action sequenced photo, this will make my magazine good for younger people or older people who are interested into this type of photography. Genre: What sort of product is it? Sports/photography magazine Content What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here The content which will be included into my magazine will have small information about the sport used, and there will be a lot of information on how to set up your camera to take the action sequenced photos, I will talk about what this type of photography is, and what setting you will have to change. Audience: Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc. Why would your project appeal to this person? My audience will be aimed at men and women aged from 16-50, who are A, B, C1 and C2 social class, this is because my magazine could interest teenagers who are just beginning to learn how to take professional photos, however people aged around 40-50 could be starting a new hobby and will need a step by step guide on how to set up the camera. I Have chosen these types of social class because any other will most likely not be able to afford a camera capable of taking these photos. Legal & Ethical Considerations: Think about any offensive material you will include? None Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? No Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? I will not include any offensive material Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement? My magazine will not include offensive material, and will not offend any certain groups or religions. This is because I could get sued or my magazine could be taken of the market and my profit would begin to decrease. Also I do not want to make anyone feel offended. All images which will be used will be taken by myself or I will make sure that none of them copy right.
