Jordan Hites
Techniques of illustration and 3D solid modeling, rendering, and graphic animation with 3D CAD software.  Activities include the design and analysis of 3D solid models of mechanical parts and devices.  Also rapid prototyping of designed products.
Develop skill in the construction and drawing of 3D solid models and representations of manufactured objects. Develop skills in the generation, rendering, animating, and editing of 3D solids models. Understand the advantages of parametric modeling and its characteristics. Develop an occupational awareness of the opportunities in the graphic design and analysis field.
Develop an understanding of the role of solids modeling in conveying information about an object. Further develop the ability to visualize objects depicted in two dimensional drawings. Draw and design solid models and create 2D drawings from solid models. Develop rapid prototyped parts for a selected subassembly.

Solid Modeling For Design
