This document provides instructions for an assignment on abstract and detailed photography. Students are asked to take close-up photos that focus on shapes, lines, colors and composition, in a way that the subject is no longer recognizable. They must compile a list of at least 50 subjects to photograph in their sketchbook. This includes a minimum of 10 subjects each from nature, industry, food and shadows. Students then take at least 40 abstract close-up photos and select their 5 best images to submit.

- 32. IMAGES & EDITING: Shoota series of new pictures (40 minimum) that focus on shapes, lines, colors and composition. Your images should be detailed shots that end in an image that no longer looks like it’s original form. Compile and edit 5 images and put them in your Google Drive saved under Abstract and Details.
- 33. IMAGES & EDITING: The5 images you submit should be: • One object from nature • One industrial object • One food item • One shadows cast on a surface • One your choice Share your photos with the class discussing how you captured abstract and detailed images.
