Flashcards
      is a set of cards bearing
information, as words or numbers, on
either or both sides, used in classroom
drills or in private study.
      can bear vocabulary, historical
dates, formulas or any subject matter
that can be learned via a question and
answer format.
BENEFITS:

  It simplify and condense information
so that you only learn the important
facts and ideas.

  are used to develop and enhance the
recognition and remembering power of
the child.
open up the mind of a child to embrace
new objects and ideas.
possible impacts:

     positively enhanced participation
rates in education and socially adjusted
behaviors in schools and later life, and
subsequently, a higher qualitative
academic achievements with a secure
future.
GUIDELINES:

    intersperse known items
    minimize errors
    use feedback for correct and error
responses
    select an instructional arrangement
that will enhance responding.
Examples of flashcard in mathematics:

                  English                Math / Symbols

    one more than the product of 9 and
      a number n                       9n + 1

    the quotient of n and 8 less 9     n/8 − 9

    the sum of 13 and twice a number n 13 + 2n

    a number n divided by 82           n/82
    A number increased by nine is
       fifteen.                        n + 9 = 15

    Twice a number is eighteen.        2n = 18
