Big Green Challenge Runs for two years: Stage 1 –  deadline 29 February ’08 Stage 2 – up to 100 groups invited to submit detailed plans  Stage 3 – up to 10 finalists implement their ideas for the year from October ‘08 Finalists receive advice and up to £20k
BGC Criteria Achieve measurable levels of carbon saving  Be innovative - new approaches, or existing ideas implemented in new ways  Demonstrate sustained commitment and durable impact  Be replicable, transferable, scalable Involve your community in developing and delivering the idea
