  • #2: Good Morning Everyone. My name is Ollie. I'm the Founder and Chief Content Officer of Zetta Media, a Digital Media Network.
  • #3: Do you remember the last time you click on banner ads? I don't remember the last time I click on banner ads. I don't even remember the last time I see one. I hate it so much that my brain automatically create a blind spot because of iit. But I do want to buy the products. I just don't want to be told what to do. Instead, I need to read more information about the products and get a recommendation from my friends and my community.
  • #4: Seth Godin said content marketing is the only marketing left. It's not about what you make but the story you tell. Knowing that, brands put all their energy and effort to create their own content, build their own community from scratch, only to realize later that it's a complex process. They don't know how to distribute their content and how to maintain the community.
  • #5: This is where Zetta Media come to the picture. We are a network of storytellers . We're passionate in creating high quality & authentic contents, also building engaging communities.
  • #6: This is how we tell our story, with 10 portals and more to come,
  • #7: with 5 different segments lifestyle, career & productivity, women&family, personal finance and sports serving young readers from 17-35 years old.
  • #8: We have the best storytellers joining our team as managing editors. Like Ligwina Hananto. She's a top Financial Planner in Indonesia, she has her own radio show with hundreds of thousands of listeners all over Indonesia with Hard Rock FM. She's running Moola.id, our personal finance portal. We have Bunga Mega running RULA our women's portal. She's an awesome community builder, she has CeweQuat community and She recently organized CeweQuat Internationale Forum, with participants coming from all over Southeast Asia. We also have Fachmy Casofa running Virala.id, our creative portal, he's a senior editor at Tiga Serangkai and also writer of President Habibie Biography.
  • #9: Zetta Media also actively build a strong writers community of more than 2000 writers all over Indonesia, and to maintain our community we did workshops in more than 5 cities in Indonesia Jakarta, Aceh, Jogja, Surabaya, Bali, and Lombok.
  • #10: We understand our audience, that's why for each portal we want to give different design for specific audience. Trivia.id, it's a lifestyle portal for millenials, that's why for our young audience in Trivia we gave them lots of pictures and fresh colors.
  • #11: For RibutRukun.com, our relationship portal, and
  • #12: RockingMama.id, powerful moms portal with mature audiences, we use simple layouts to make them comfortable and spend more time in our portal.
  • #13: Zetta Media contents are highly shareable. Even a simple post like this can get almost 800,000 views and shared more than 250,000 times in couple of months.
  • #14: If you hate Korean drama, I have bad news for you. This content is a big hit with more than a half half million views.
  • #15: What makes us different is, we believe that everybody has a story. Our contents are all authentic and based on personal story that touch people's heart. That's why it connects well with a lot of readers.
  • #16: We also not afraid to write controversial contents. Like this post about roles of mother got more than 1000 comments of heated debate.
  • #17: This article got more than 1000 comments on Facebook.
  • #18: Our business models is native ads. Brands can put their message in sponsored articles and competition, distribute their original contents with us and engage with our community.
  • #19: Market opportunity is big. Digital ad spending in Indonesia is $1.42 billion and it's increasing by the year. Market size for native ads in Europe is 10% and it will keep on growing. These budgets needs new channels to reach 65 million young people of highly active content consumers and broadcasters in Indonesia.
  • #20: These are our happy clients in just 2 months since we promote the portals and we expect more to come.
  • #21: This is our story. We started in January 2016 launching 10 portals and recruit 10 managing editors. We successfully recruit 2000+ non-hired writers to contribute writing up to 100+ articles per week. Our posts gain traction and become viral, up to 800,000 views per article. Then we have our first revenue in May 2016, and we plan to get $100,000 in revenue and total 5 million pageviews by the end of this year.
  • #22: Zetta Media founders are experienced in content and technology industry for more than 6 years. Ega built one of the biggest writers community in Indonesia with 150,000 writers. I wrote 30 books and become influential blogger since 2007. Andi has experience in technology for 16 years.
  • #23: We have awesome mentors too, Pak Karaniya from Bareksa and used to run vivanews, Ben Soebiakto from KLN and Lesley Jane, former Editor in Chief of Marie Claire.
  • #24: What's next? We want to improve our platform by enhancing UI/UX for mobile needs, create self-serving advertising platforms for brands, build statistics & analytics engine also build network based features, right now we have applied single sign for all our 10 portals and we'd like to build other features like cross recommendation posts for our portal and more.
  • #25: For that, we're raising $1 million to grow our user base, enhance features, build stronger team, and expand our content.
