The reason I have asked this question in my questionnaire is because it will allow me to look at what my target audience thought about the genre indie/rock. As you can see, the majority of people I have asked are between the ages of 13 and 18. This is because this age is around my target audience, and if I asked anyone a lot older, then the results would probably be a lot different, and so wouldn’t be very valuable because they wouldn’t help me when I come to construct my music magazine.

As you can see I have got a mixture of results from both genders, which will mean that I will created my magazine that is suitable for both male and female.

Yes-18 No-2 This question is good as it stresses that most of my target audience would want the chance to be entered into a prize draw if they bought a magazine. Since 18 out of 20 people said they would want to have that chance and only two wouldn’t, I could use this information to suggest that the majority of my target audience would want to be able to enter a prize draw, which may make me decide to put something into the magazine which gives the buyer that opportunity to be entered into a prize draw.
