MATTHEW 17:19-20 NASB 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not drive it out?" 20 And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
- 5. FAITH is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing who holds the future.

- 11. Do you want to restore what was broken? Have FAITH God is a God of restoration.

Luke 15:11-32 CEV 11 Jesus also told them another story: Once a man had two sons. 12 The younger son said to his father, “Give me my share of the property.” So the father divided his property between his two sons. 13 Not long after that, the younger son packed up everything he owned and left for a foreign country, where he wasted all his money in wild living. 14 He had spent everything, when a bad famine spread through that whole land. Soon he had nothing to eat.
- 13. 15 He went to work for a man in that country, and the man sent him out to take care of his pigs. 16 He would have been glad to eat what the pigs were eating, but no one gave him a thing. 17 Finally, he came to his senses and said, “My father’s workers have plenty to eat, and here I am, starving to death! 18 I will go to my father and say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against God in heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer good enough to be called your son. Treat me like one of your workers.’”

His father came out and begged him to go in.

But you have never even given me a little goat, so that I could give a dinner for my friends. 30 This other son of yours wasted your money on prostitutes. And now that he has come home, you ordered the best calf to be killed for a feast.” 31 His father replied, “My son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we should be glad and celebrate! Your brother was dead, but he is now alive. He was lost and has now been found.”

- 21. FAITH gives life to hope and HOPE strengthens our faith.
- 22. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to have hope WITHOUT faith.

- 34. James 2:14-16 NASB 14 What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
- 35. Whatever circumstance that may happen in your life, when you respond by faith in God you will see His greatness unfold.

Matthew 21:20-22 ESV 20 When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither at once?” 21 And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. 22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
- 37. Faith is not a bare belief or intellectual understanding. It is a willingness to trust God. It is faith that focuses on Christ and not to yourself.
- 38. God is a God of restoration. When we place the broken pieces of our lives in His hands, He restores them to a beauty that far outshines the former.
- 40. Whenever God restores something, He restores it to a place greater than it was before.

Joel 2:25-26 NKJV “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.
