- 2. An establishing shot of usually the first shot of a new sense, it can be a range of distance from very wide shot, extreme wide shot or a long shot
- 3. WIDE SHOT In a wide shot it shows a Variety of information, wide shots allows the audience to clearly see the subject , the environment and areas around them.
- 4. Long shot It usually contains a character or an object that shows their whole body
- 5. Mid/medium shot This shot shows some parts of the subject not the whole body or object, showing the right detailed
- 6. Close- Up Shot Bring the camera close to an object or a part of body to focus only on what's interested
- 7. Extreme close up shot This shot takes the camera even closer and we are able to focus in detail
- 8. Point of view shot This shot shows the view from a person or objects perspective
- 9. Over the shoulder shot This shot is framed from behind a person who is looking at another person or object, it helps to establish the position of each person h

- 11. Aerial shot A shot usually taken from a plane or a helicopter, sometimes from an overhead position to show a city

- 14. LOW ANGLE This angle shows the subject from below giving them Seem as more powerful
- 15. HIGH ANGLE this angle shows the subject from above, taken from a high place looking down to the subject
- 16. CANTED OR OBLIQUE ANGLE Sometimes the camera is tilted or placed horizontal to floor level to show imbalance
- 18. PAN A pan is a horizontal camera movement in which the camera moves left and right, its used to show scenes that can not fit on to one shot
- 19. TILT In which the camera points up or down from a location a movement which scans a scene vertically its also opposite to pan
- 20. TRACK A shot in which the camera moves from side to side along tracks or rails to follow a character or an object, usually used to follow actions
- 21. ZOOM this means that the shot gets a close up while still being in the same distance from the subject
- 22. REVERSE ZOOM This shot which moves away from a subject it zooms away from a character or object
- 23. DOLLY A platform of wheels on which a camera can be placed in order to allow freedom of movement during filming
- 24. CRANE the camera is placed on an arm and allows it to be lifted into the air often for high- angle shots
- 25. VERTIGO This is a movement that is using both zooming and dolling
- 26. BALANCE Each element in the picture is correctly like the colour, size or texture is shown to a correct balance
- 27. SYMMETRY This shot is when balanced on both sides of the picture
- 28. ASYMMETRY This is a shot that is not balanced on both sides of the shot or frame
- 29. RULE OF THIRDS This is a balancing technique that is used when taking a image, using grids tool in the camera
- 30. DEPTH OF FIELD This shot is the distance in front and beyond the subject that appears to be in focus
- 31. SHALLOW FOCUS In shallow focus one part of the image is in focus while the rest is out of focus
- 32. DEEP FOCUS This is where the whole image is in focus
- 33. PULL FOCUS If two people or objects are in one image then one is in focus and the other is not to attract attention.
