  8 Tips for ImprovedStability and Homogeneity • Cryogenic milling improves analyte stability and homogeneity (improved precision for small-scale methods) • Smaller particle size allows better penetration of solvent and better extraction efficiency for incured residues • If processing at ambient tempeartures work as quickly as possible and mix continuously during withdrawing of test portions • If it is not possible to homogenise samples under cryogenic conditions, the analyst should at least recognise the potential losses and report results accordingly • Do not forget potential losses of pesticides during storage of sample and avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
