3. VBS THEME SONG
Jesus makes the rainbow, Jesus makes the sun;
Jesus makes the day and fills it up with fun;
Jesus makes the moon to shine at night;
And Jesus makes the stars so bright.
Jesus makes the kittens, Jesus makes the pups;
Jesus makes the chickens, and the little ducks;
Jesus makes the bunnies smooth as silk;
And Jesus makes the cows' warm milk.
Jesus makes the flowers, Jesus makes the trees;
Jesus makes the rain and makes the gentle breeze;
Jesus makes the grass so fresh and green;
And Jesus makes the air so clean
Jesus makes my Mom and Dad and me,
And we're a happy family

7. The "miracle in the fish" refers to the
miraculous catch of fish in the Gospel of
Luke (Luke 5:1-11) and John (John 21:1-
14). In both accounts, fishermen,
including Simon Peter, had fished all night
without success. Jesus instructed them to
put out into deeper water and let down
their nets, resulting in a massive catch of
fish that nearly sank their boats.
9. The Bible depicts several
miracles involving storms at sea,
most notably Jesus calming the
storm in the Sea of Galilee.
These events are found in
Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41,
and Luke 8:22-25. In these
accounts, Jesus demonstrates
his authority over nature by
rebuking the winds and waves,
bringing a sudden calm. These
events are often seen as
symbolic of God's power to
bring peace and control even in
difficult or chaotic times.
11. The miracle of the ten lepers, found
in Luke 17:11-19, describes how
Jesus healed ten men with leprosy,
yet only one returned to thank him.
This story emphasizes the
importance of faith, gratitude, and
obedience to God. The ten men,
suffering from a disease that made
them outcasts, approached Jesus
for help and were miraculously
healed while on their way to show
themselves to the priests. Only one,
a Samaritan, returned to praise God
and express his gratitude.
13. The "man on the roof" miracle
refers to the story in the Bible
where Jesus heals a paralyzed
man. His friends, unable to reach
Jesus through the crowd,
removed part of a roof and
lowered the man to him. Jesus
then healed the man and
forgave his sins. This story is
found in Mark 2:1-12 and Luke
5:17-26.
