Therefore, Oprah is mortal. Ex.: Ex.: People who go with Aaron live. I want to live. Therefore, I must go with Aaron if I want to live. INDUCTION

Therefore, Oprah is mortal. Ex.: People who go with Aaron live. I want to live. Therefore, I must go with Aaron if I want to live. INDUCTION From specific observations to general conclusions about the world. No guarantee of true conclusion. Why not? Ex: I’ve met a lot of smokers who look older than they are. Therefore, smoking probably causes wrinkles. Ex: I’ve noticed that lots of people who go with Aaron live. Therefore, I think anyone who goes with Aaron will live.
