This document describes a distributed remote temperature monitoring and acquisition system based on CAN bus. The system uses 8051 microcontrollers connected via CAN to monitor temperature sensors. CAN is a multi-master broadcast serial bus standard that allows nodes to send and receive messages. The microcontrollers are programmed using Embedded C and RIDE software. Key hardware components include AT89S52 microcontrollers, wired CAN controllers, a power supply, LCD display, temperature sensors, and Max485 transceivers.
