NMEThis is a typical example of a double page spread from NME, in which one page is taken up entirely by one image, which is a conventional feature for double page spreads.BuzzwordsAt the top of each corner, is the word "Live!“. This suggests to the reader that this article has all the latest news and information.TitleIs in the centre of the magazine (almost). Also,is in a bold font which makes it stand out, and so attracts the readers 'attention. Only a few words long which makes it short and snappy - Quicker and easier to read.Simple Colour SchemeOnly a small variety of colours have been used : Pink, Black and White. It is also the name of the artist featured in the article. Main ImageAgain, is a traditional example of a double page spread as the image is on the first page, and covers the whole of the page. This is also a traditional feature of a double page spread.Colour SchemeThere isn’t really a colour scheme of the article as such as it is rather plain, however it does follow the colours of the magazine itself. Which are; Red, Black and White.Page Number and LogoPlaced in the bottom right hand cornerDrop CapThe article contains 3 of these. Two in the text, and one over the top of the text. The one over the top of the text shows importance what with it being red. This double page spread deviates the codes and convention because it doesn’t contain any other images, which makes it slightly more interesting. The impression you get from looking at the article is that it is very serious and straight to the point. Also, it doesn't contain any quotes/pull quotes.
