Education Technology
Education technology is a systematic
process of developing solutions to
problems of teaching and learning. To
assist teachers in selecting instructional
strategies and media that will ensure that
their students achieve desired learning
objectives.
It illustrates how teachers can develop
more effective, well-integrated
curriculums by engaging in applied
research, research anchored directly to
their own distinctive classroom practice
over many years.
The essence of education technology in
education is the modification of dynamic
role of educational system beneficial to
students.
Technology and education are intertwined,
education is the means of learning and
technology is the environmental condition
where students are the object. Technology
serves and submits to educational
development.
Within the context of technology used in
education, there is no significant difference in
teaching between the traditional method and
the most high technology teaching
methodologies as long as the content is
equivalent, the learning are the same with all
different media.
General classroom behavior commonly
addresses the following areas:
Doing wonderful things in service of humanity,
core aim of education technology is cost-
effective achievement of measureable
learning objectives.
In this world of globalization, education
technology is essential because we aspire to
help our student’s achieve a high-level,
worthwhile objectives, but in context of limited
time and resources.
• Increases students’ motivation, self-esteem, and
self confidence in academic achievement
• Supplies stimulating environments that
encourages student involvement in the learning
process
• Promotes higher-level thinking skills
• Offers students diversity, self-paced learning, and
opportunities to apply skills and talents and to
interact with others in non-threatening

• Changes teacher’s role into positive directions
• Inspires students’ and teachers by making
learning exciting and interesting
