Electricity system inIndonesia
The electrical system in Indonesia consists of three main stages:
generation, transmission, and distribution. The voltage used is for
single-phase systems and for three-phase systems. The energy sources
are predominantly fossil fuels such as coal and gas, with a growing use
of renewable energy sources like hydro, geothermal, solar, and wind.
About 85% of electricity in Indonesia still comes from fossil fuels, while
only around 15% comes from renewable energy sources such as hydro,
geothermal, solar, and wind.

Electricity in
Philiphine
The Philippineelectricity system is a complex
network of three main grids (Luzon, Visayas, and
Mindanao) managed by the National Grid
Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). It uses a
mix of energy sources, with coal being dominant,
though there is a growing push for renewables
like solar, wind, and hydro. The standard voltage
for consumers is (220V) at (60Hz). Challenges
include aging infrastructure and reliability issues,
while the government is pushing for grid
modernization and more renewable energy
integration, as detailed in the Philippine Energy
Plan (PEP) 2023-2050.

Philippines
Accelerating the transition from coal to renewable
energy: The Philippines has an ambitious target of
increasing the share of renewable energy (RE) in its
energy mix to 35% by 2030 and 50% by 2050, from
around 22% currently. The government has
imposed a moratorium on the construction of new
coal-fired power plants and implemented the
Green Energy Auction Program (GEP).
