 Snow College is a rural, two-year state college located in Ephraim, Utah
1. What percentage of your paper products do you recycle?
2. Would you recycle more if more recycle bins were available?
3. Have you thrown trash out of your window while driving in the past year?
4. We are killing too many trees for paper and lumber
5. Humans are destroying the planet by altering the habitat for agriculture and cities
6. Daily actions of individuals cannot make enough of a difference to actually help the planet
7. Large U.S. cities should enact laws (like they have in Mexico City) where only vehicles with certain tags on their license plates are allowed to circulate on certain days.
8. Human actions are causing glaciers to melt, seas to rise, and the climate to change
9. Americans need to give up a big percentage of our luxuries to help save the world
10. How many acres of forests worldwide are lost in a single day?For this question the correct answer is about 90,000 acres per day. We counted it as a “close guess” if the answer was +/- 30,000 acres
11. What percent of the time do you walk or bicycle for errands less than 2 miles?
12. Compared to an average student, how much effort do you put into to helping society go green?
13. How will your efforts into going green this year be different from the past year?
