Differences My magazine contents uses a grab quote on top of the main image this is effective because it shows what the band have said and draws the attention of the reader, it also allows the reader to find out what this band is like. My magazine contents uses a big main image which takes up the whole page with the cover lines on top of them but the Similarities NME uses a smaller image which is worked in with the cover lines and everything else. My contents is a lot busier than the NME with barely any space left on it whereas there Both keep the masthead in the top is space left on the NME contents. left hand side of the page, the colour schemes are kept from the front cover, this keeps a constant flow throughout the magazine. The contents both have a single striking image and base the rest of the page around this image. Both contents have the date and clearly labelled contents at the top of the page. Both of these use a band tracker which make it easier for the reader to see where they can find there favourite artists. They both have cover lines that relate to just the main image. They both have a subscription zone where readers can subscribe to future magazines. Both of the articles contain sections of what is inside the magazine, for example reviews, competitions. Both of the contents have a structure with cover lines working around the main image.
