Alternative rock is the genre chosen for the music video due to its wide range of video options and large fan following of bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers. While indie music has grown popular recently, alternative rock has a bigger audience. Punk has been around since the 1980s but another genre is preferred after further review. The music will be written in the style of bands such as Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

- 2. Rock Rock is a popular music genre, and it widely known. Bands such as red hot chilli peppers are a alternative rock band which have a massive following of fans. In addition, alternative rock opens a wide range of music video options. However, it will be hard to write the music to this sort of genre.
- 3. Indie Indie in recent years has become more and more popular with bands such as the artic monkeys and the kooks. However compared to rock it does not have as big as audience. The music is easy to create, however the lyrics are mainly random stories or sentences which can be difficult to get right.

- 5. Conclusion After looking at a couple of different types of genres, I have come to the conclusion that I would like to create a Alternative rock genre music video. In addition, I am going to write my own music in a similar style to bands such as Foo fighters and red hot chilli peppers.
