Greenhouse effect • Discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824. • Some solar radiation is reflected by earth and atmosphere. • Some radiations absorbed and re-emitted in all directions by greenhouse gase molecules. • The effect of this is to warm the earth’s surface. • Greenhouse gases :water vapour , carbondioxide , CFCs ,methane etc.
- 8. Deforestation Timber of tree also sequesters carbon. Deforestation means timber may be used &converted to co2. Co2 is greenhouse gas which caused global warming.

- 12. Industrial advancement • Factories needs coal ,petroleum etc for power. • Burning of these fuels releases CO₂ which absorbs harmful radiations from sun making it warm ,hence cause global warming. • Smoke produced by factories mixed with air which is harmful for breathing.

- 18. Impact on animals • Global Warming can disrupt migration, hibernation & reproductive cycles of animals. • Mental illness caused due to shortage of foods.

MAINTAINANCE OF GLOBAL WARMING : 3R’s -> REDUCE : (Reduce amount of Earth’s resources that we are used) - Reduce the waste created by purchasing in bulk, buying items with less packaging and switching to reusable instead of single-use items. - Businesses can adopt manufacturing methods that require fewer resources and generate less waste.
