Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered his last sermon on the ninth of Dhul Hijjah, 10 years after migrating from Makkah to Medina. He explained to the people central points of life that are essential for their victory, such as praying to Allah, respecting fellow Muslims, and not spending a husband's money without his consent. After returning from his final Hajj, the Prophet (PBUH) fell ill in the first month of 11 A.H. and reminded his companions to follow the Quran before bidding them farewell.
