What the investor has to consider and be ready for
10
It is important that the investor is involved in the project to ensure the projects success.
The investor has to understand the complexity of his own logistic processes and what are his interests in the project.
The investor should also understand the timeline of the implementation of his project and what are his responsibilities and
finally the benefits out of this.
It is a lot of work to be done by the investor - client !!
The key elements are:
• Planning (Master Data are an important fact)
• Prediction (from both sides)
• Decision
• Strategy for the future (future plans and vision)
• Predict failures and problems
At the same moment it is also very important how to solve and avoid the
problems that might occur. In this matter it is crucial to trust and rely to the right
partner, who his experienced and can protect the interest and invest of the client.

Our CLIENTS (excerpt)

13
"SAVACOOP" d.o.o. is one of the leading companies in Serbia, founded in 1993. in Novi Sad.
Main activity is import and distribution of plant protection products, seeds, fodder, fertilizers, greenhouse
films, irrigation equipment, agricultural equipment, tools and technical goods, htz equipment, garden and
hobby programs, as well as household programs .
The bold ideas, skills and enormous effort invested in adapting to the constant demands of the market
have resulted in many changes in business, products and services.
That is why today, two decades later, our team consists of more than 200 employees of different
specialties (agronomists, veterinary doctors, economists, crop growers, vegetable growers, fruit growers
and agricultural engineers).
Success is a common goal of our partners and us, so we constantly motivate each other to achieve
more.
In order to fulfill your requirements as efficiently as possible, we are constantly innovating our business,
expanding our distribution capacities and developing logistics solutions.
Savacoop in Numbers:
209 employees
8000 products
3500 buyers
500 suppliers
50 deilvery trucks for distribution

The questions you have to ask yourself at the
beginning of the project
• On which level of logistics am I at
the moment?
• On which level of logistics I want to
be in the future?
• How much knowledge and
resources do I need on this way?
• Who can help me?
14
The key numbers that led us to the decission why
hire a logistic consultant
• currently we have 4 warehouses in Novi Sad, Srbobran and Odžaci and our plan was to have „all in one“ for the future
• with detailed and filtered master data we have come from planned 26.000 m² to 18.000 m² needed space for the
new central warehouse.
A saving of 8.000 m²!
• the concept design (phase) was important for us because, we had to decide how we want to proceed in the future.
Out of the concept design we got the insight and the guidelines what technology we can and will use in the future.
• In the detail phase we focused on our plans for the time period up to 2028 and what this means for our operations!
