Contact Fungicide
Panther Broad Spectrum Fungicide belonging to the Phthalimide group. Panther is a protective and
curative action. It gives tremendous protection against a wide variety of fungal infections in crops
equally at seeding stage and in mature plants. Panther serves both as a seed- dresser and as a foliar
spray to control seed-borne diseases, soil inhibiting fungi and foliar/fruit diseases. It works by
inhibiting respiration of numerous species of fungi and bacteria. Panther also blocks the ability of
fungus to produce energy. Panther is effective fungicide of micronized particle size used for the control
of brown rot, downey mildew, early blight and late blight in apple, cherry, grapes, potato and tomato
etc.
APPLE
About 70% oftotalpopulation ofstate
depends directly or indirectly on
agriculture. Apple is the major
products of Jammu and Kashmir
state, about 75% of apple production
in India comes from Jammu and
KashmirApple (Malus pumila) is
commercially the most important
temperate fruit and is fourth among
the most widely produced fruits in the
world after banana, orange and
grape.
A serious disease of apples and ornamental crabapples, apple SCAB
attacks both leaves and fruit. The fungal disease forms pale yellow or
olive-green spots on the upper surface of leaves Symptoms on fruit are
similar to those found on leaves. Scabby spots are sunken and tan and
may have velvety spores in the center. As these spots mature, they
become larger and turn brown and corky. Infected fruit becomes
distorted and may crack allowing entry of secondary organisms.
Severely affected fruit may drop, especially when young.

GRAPES
Grape belonging to Family
Vitaceae is a commercially important
fruit crop ofIndia.Area undergrape in
India is 79.6 thousands hectares with
an annual production of 1878.3
thousand M. tonnes. Generally grapes
are eaten fresh as table fruit. As it
contains glucose as major sugars it is
easily digestible. Grapes are good
source of calcium, phosphorus, iron
andvitamins.
Downy mildew is a highly destructive disease of grapevines in all
grape-growing areas of the India. Although all green parts of the
grapevine are susceptible, the first symptoms of downy mildew of
grapes, caused by Plasmopara viticola, are usually seen on the leaves
as soon as 5 to 7 days after infection. Foliar symptoms appear as
yellow circular spots with an oily appearance. The disease gets its
name " " from the presence of this downy
downy mildew
growth.

CHERRY
Cherry production is gaining
popularity in north Indian state of
Himachal Pradesh as a profitable
alternative to apple.Cherries are a
good source of vitamin C and
fiber.Today, cherries are cultivated all
over the world, with India ranking as
the 26th in world production.India
produces roughly 17,400 tonnes of the
fruit, which accounts for a mere .7 of
onepercentoftheworld’soutput.
Brown Rot is the most common fungal disease affecting the
cherries,The disease first infects blossoms in spring and grows back into
the small branches to cause cankers that can kill stems. Large numbers
of flower-bearing stems are killed when the disease is severe. Dead
flowersoftenremainattachedintothesummer.

medium potato contains around 164 calories
and 30 percent of the recommended daily B6
intake.
Symptoms of occur on fruit, stem and foliage of
early blight
tomatoes and stem, foliage and tubers ofpotatoes. Initialsymptoms on
leaves appear as small 1-2 mm black or brown lesions and under
conducive environmental conditions the lesions will enlarge and are
often surrounded by a yellow halo . Lesions greater than 10 mm in

TOMATO
Tomato is found in every kitchen

irrespective of the cuisine. It is used in
diverse ways in the form of salads,
juices, sauces, ingredient for various
culinary preparations, etc.Tomato is
one of the most important protective
food crops of India. It is grown in 0.458
M ha area with 7.277 M mt production
and15.9mt/haproductivity.
Symptoms of on tomato leaves and stems are similar to
late blight
those on potato. Irregularly shaped watersoaked lesions can be
observed on young leaves at the top part of the plant. Under humid
conditions, lesions become brown and pathogen sporulation can be
seen. Eventuallythe leaves shriveland become necrotic and die. Brown
