  Imogen is a Canadianindie singer, songwriter, and producer. She started writing songs when she was 12 and began producing them on her computer 2 years later. At 18, Imogen signed a song writing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music, penning tracks for Rascal Flatts and Sabrina Carpenter. In 2011, she wrote and self-released two albums, with You and Only. Imogen was born in the small town of Kelowna and says that one of the most defining moments in her life was when she watched Florence and the machine perform live in concert which really inspired Imogen to start her music career. Imogen's biggest and latest hits have been awarded platinum singles and sold millions. Ever since, Imogen has been everyone favourite and one of the most successful indie rock artists.

  Imogen I chose Imogento be the main artist in my music magazine as she is a good representative in indie rock and would attract both male and female readership. She has the right style through costumes and music. Because she is new she is what's hot within indie and everyone is starting to recognise her therefore she will attract a wide audience. I intend to represent her as the next best thing to happen in the indie rock community. She is new and here to stay.
