ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in controlling plywood
production at PT. SLJ Global Tbk, Samarinda. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to evaluate the effectiveness
of the implementation of TQM principles, such as customer focus, continuous improvement, and participation of all parties
in production control. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of TQM at PT. SLJ Global Tbk has
succeeded in increasing production efficiency and reducing the level of product defects, so that it can provide added value to
the company and increase customer satisfaction.
