I Can…. practice using Google Forms to complete a Reading Interest & Tech Survey Agenda How will students learn? How will you use questions, resources, and protocols? THINK & ANSWER 2-10 min. Discussion Questions: What did you LOVE about IR last year? What did you HATE about IR last year? What do you hope to gain from IR this year? You can choose to have students engage with this by writing responses at their desks, doing a Turn & Talk, posting chart paper around the room and have students chart their responses, it’s up to you. Just make sure they have a space to share their thoughts and expectations. Check(s) for Understanding: KNOWLEDGE EXPANSION 5-15 min. This section may or may not be the same for everyone. Some students may acquire the knowledge through reading, others through modeling, some classes may benefit from stations, etc. Explain that this year we are going to be doing our logging for IR digitally ​once​ a week. Students should be filling out this log when they are reading nightly. Teachers will use the log to track their reading.
