You can choose to have students engage with this by writing responses at their desks,
doing a Turn & Talk, posting chart paper around the room and have students chart their
responses, it’s up to you. Just make sure they have a space to share their thoughts and
expectations.

Explain that this year we are going to be doing our logging for IR digitally ​once​ a week.
Students should be filling out this log when they are reading nightly. Teachers will use the
log to track their reading.
