The study investigated the effects of acetaminophen on liver function in broiler chickens. 40 chickens were divided into a control group and poisoned group, with the poisoned group receiving 650 mg/kg of acetaminophen daily for 7 days. Blood samples were analyzed for liver enzymes AST, ALT and ALP. Results showed significantly higher levels of all three enzymes in the poisoned group, indicating liver toxicity from the acetaminophen. The study concludes that 650 mg/kg of acetaminophen administered to broiler chickens for a week can cause liver toxicity, as evidenced by increased liver enzymes.
