- 7. Difference between logistic management and transportation Logistics is extensive than transportation. While in transportation ,'movement' of goods from one place to the other is the backbone of transportation, logistics refers to the whole 'flow' management which includes not only transportation, but also storage, handling, inventory, packaging ,production, labeling and so on.
