- 3. Manifesto A manifesto is what we call a potential leader’s vision or plan. In a manifesto, leaders set out their intentions so that people can know what kind of a leader this person will be The manifesto makes the leader’s priorities clear so the people can vote for the leader who matches their own priorities best.
- 4. The Island On the Island, the first thing the boys do is elect a leader but they do it very quickly and without a great deal of thought. Imagine they had taken more time... What would the manifestos for the key characters be like?
