Mise en scene

- 2. Costume The costume that I will choose will have to reflect the genre of my magazine. • The costumes that I will choose will be a variety of clothes all reflecting the stereotypical pop genre. The clothes will be quite plain to show the sophistication of the magazine which will attract the older audience whilst incorporating the usual colour of pop artists clothing. The outfits will vary on the contents page and double page spread though still keeping the outfits somewhat the same so there is synergy between the double page spread and the contents page.
- 3. Props • I will use a variety of props to make my front cover, contents page and double page spread to make the overall magazine eye catching to my target audience.
- 4. Props Front Cover • For the front cover of my magazine I will use one main image for my artist. The image will be on the main focus on the artist. I will have the use of a microphone stand to emphasise the music genre of the magazine.
- 5. Props Contents Page • For my contents page I will take a variety of different shots and use a variety of props for each sub image such as a guitar so some of my target audience can relate to this.
- 6. Props Double Page Spread • For my double page spread I will use one main image and various sub images. Props that I have used for my front cover and contents page will also be used along with other props such as uses of a homely environment to make it more intimate with the audience.
- 7. Posture The way my model will be posing is a crucial part in the Mise En Scene • For my images my models will pose in a variety of different friendly poses as to create a friendly atmosphere which connotes with the pop genre.
- 8. Conclusion • To conclude, Mise En Scene is everything that is put into the scene. This has to be planned well to keep the magazine sophisticated and suitable for the pop genre.
