Muhammad  (SAW)
In the name of Allah most Gracious most Merciful.   Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the last of the Prophets sent for our guidance. The Devine Revelations are the final instructions from the Creator to His creations. The aim of the Prophet's mission has been stated in the Quran : "It is Allah Who has sent His Prophet with guidance and the way of truth so that he may make it dominate over all other ways of life howsoever unpleasant it may be to those who assign partners to Allah." (LXI: 9)
Birthplace of the Prophet
The Birth of Muhammad Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was born in the Spring season, the 1st year of Am-ul-Feel. It was the 22nd April 570 AD, the 12 Rabi-ul-awwal. His Father was Abdullah who died a few months before his birth. His mother was Sayyada Aminah Bint-e-Wahab who died when he was 6 years old. She gave him the name Ahmed. She had a dream in which an angel appeared and suggested the name "Ahmed". His grand father Abdul Mutalib named him "Muhammad".
In the Care of Abu Talib 2-3 days after his birth he was suckled by Thaubia, a slave girl of Abu Lahab. He was sent to the desert for permanenet nursing in the care of Halima Sadia. His grand father Abdul Mutalib took care of him after his mother died. He died when the Prophet was 8 years 2 months 10 days old. He was in the care of his uncle Abu Talib after the death of his grandfather. Abu Talib did not accept Islam but he gave the Prophet his full support and helped him.
Age 12  to  25 His first journey to Syria with his uncle Abu Talib was when he was 12 years 2 months old. He participated in the battle of Fajjar for the first time when he was about 15 years old. He participated in Hilful Fazul, a reformist movement, at the age of 16. His second journey to Syria as a trader was at the age of 25. He married Khadija after this journey. He was 25 and she was 40 years old widow.
Marriage and Prophethood He attained Prophethood at the age of 40. It was the 9 Rabi-ul-Awwal February 610 AD. Fajr and Asr prayers were prescribed, two Rakats each. The beginning of the revelation of the Quran was on 18th Ramazan, 1st year of Prophethood. It was Friday night at cave Hira. The first 5 verses of Sura Al Alaq were revealed. He began secret preaching. The first to accept Islam was his wife Khatija.
The house of Arqam Makhzoomi The house of Arqam Makhzoomi was made centre of movement. About 40 people accepted Islam during this period. At the end of third year of Prophethood he made is first public announcement of Prophethood. In the 3rd to 5th year of Prophethood he faced opposition, redicule, propaganda and mild oppression. The second wave of intense opposition and oppression was in the 5th to 7th year of Prophethood.
6 th  to 10 th  Year of Prophethood Hazrat Hamza and Hazrat Umar embrace Islam in the 6th year. The Prophet's internment with the family of Hashim at Shi'b Abi Talib was on 1st Muharram, 7th year of Prophethood. The 9th year of Prophethood was the end of internment and boycott. The 10th year of Prophethood Hazrat Abu Talib and Hazrat Khatija died. It was the year of sorrow.
The Ascension (Meraj) The Prophet visited Taif in Jumada II. The Ascension (Meraj) took place on 27th Rajab, 10th year of Prophethood. The daily prayers five times a day were prescribed. The beginning of Islam in Madina was in Zilhijja, the 10th year of Prophethood. The Deputation in Madina was in Zilhijja, the 12th year of Prophethood. Six people accept Islam. Then the first pledge of Aqaba with 12 persons followed.
The Foundation of Masjid e Nabavi The second pledge of Aqaba with 75 persons was in Zilhajja, the 13th year of Prophethood. The Migration from Macca to the cave Thaur began on Safar 27th, 13th year of Prophethood. The Prophet was 53 years old. He departed from Thaur on 1st Rabi al Awwal, 622 A.D. and arrived at Quba on 8th Rabi al Awwal, the 14th year of Prophethood. He entered Madina on Friday. The foundation of Masjid e Nabavi was laid in Rabi al Awwal, I Hijrah.
Hazrat Bilal gave the 1st Adhan Hazrat Bilal gave the 1st Adhan (the call for prayer) at Masjid e Nabavi.   The Prophet organised brotherhood between the Migrants and Ansar in the first quarter of I Hijrah. In the Middle quarter of I Hirah the Islamic State and constitutional agreement of Madina was established. The Defence system was introduced and the petrol parties started in the middle of 1st Hijrah.
Zakah was Prescribed In Shawwal, I Hijrah, the Prophet consummated his marriage with Hazrat Ayesha. He had married her in Mecca. Jihad was ordered on 12 Safar 2 Hijrah, 1 year 2 months and 10 days after migration. First Military action Ghazwa Waddan was taken in Safar 2 Hijrah. Zakah was prescribed in 2 Hijrah.
Ramazan was Prescribed The change of Qibla took place on 15th Shaban, 2 Hijrah. Ramazan was prescribed on 1st Ramazan, 2nd Hijrah. The congregational prayer of Eid ul Fitr took place and Fitra was ordered on 1st Shawwal, 2 Hijrah. The battle of Badr started on 8th Ramazan, 2nd Hijrah. The victorious entry into Madina was on 20th Ramazan, 2nd Hijrah.
2 Hijrah The marriage of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatima took place after the battle of Badr, 2 Hijrah. The Siege Banu Qainuqa was in middle of Shawwal to the beginning of Ziq'ada, 2 Hijrah. The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Hafsa, daughter of Umar took place in 3 Hijrah. The same year the marriage of Hazrat Usman with Hazrat Umme Kulsum, daughter of the Prophet took place. Wine was prohibited in 3 Hijrah.
3 Hijrah Hazrat Hassan was born on 15th Ramazan 3 Hijrah. The battle of Uhud started on 5 Shawwal, 3 Hijrah after the Friday prayer. Usury was prohibited soon after the battle of Uhud. Injunctions about Orphans and detailed laws of inheritance were issued soon after the battle of Uhud. The prophet's marriage with Zainab, daughter of Khozaima took place at the end of 3 Hijrah.
4 Hijrah Hijab was ordered on 1 Ziq'ada, 4 Hijrah. The second Ghazwa of Badr was in Ziq'ada,4 Hijrah. Ghazwa Damatul Jandal was in Rabi al Awwal, 5 Hijrah. Ghazwa Banu al Mustalaq was on 3 Shaban, 5 Hijrah. Injunctions for Tayammum were given on the way to Ghazwa Banu Mustalaq.
5 Hijrah The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Juwairia took Place in Shaban, 5 Hijrah. The enforcement of Penal Laws against fornication, slander etc was in 5 Hijrah. The Ghazwa Ahzab was in 5 Hijrah. The prophet's marriage with Hazrat Zainab, daughter of Jash took place in 5 Hijrah. The Treaty of Hudaibiya was in Ziq'ada, 6 Hijrah. The beginning of international call-letters to rulers was on 1st Muharram, 7 Hijrah.
6 & 7 Hijrah The Ghazwa Khyber was in Muharram, 7 Hijrah. The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Safia took place in Muharram, 7 Hijrah. The Abyssinian Migrants return in 7 Hijrah. Independent Muslim camps were established at Saiful Bahr in 7 Hijrah, by young Muslim men who were oppressed in Mecca but could not be allowed to stay at Madina according to Hudaibiya Treaty. The Quraish Carawan was raided by Saif ul Bhar in Safar, 7 Hijrah.
8 Hijrah The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Maimuna took place in 7 Hijrah. The Ghazwa Mutah was in Jumada I, 8 Hijrah. Violation of Hudaibiya pact was in Rajab, 8 Hijrah. Hazrat Zainab, daughter of the Prophet and Ibrahim, the Prophet's son dies in 8 Hijrah. Zakat was organized in the beginning of Muharram, 9 Hijrah. The Ghazwa of Tabuk was in Rajab, 9 Hijrah.
9 Hijrah Deputation of Azra to Madina was in Safar, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Bahy to Madina was in Rabi I, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Khaulan to Madina was in Shaban, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Thaqif to Madina was in 9 Hijrah. Hajj was prescribed and the first Hajj was under Hazrat Abu Bakr on 9th Zilhijja, 9 Hijrah.
10 Hijrah They left for Muzdalifa on 9th Zilhijja, after sunset. The twenty days' retirement of the Prophet in the last Ramazan was in 10 Hijrah. The last Hajj of the Prophet started from Madina on 26th Ziq'ada, 10 Hijrah. Entry into the sacred Mosque was on 5th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah. They left to Mina on 8th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah.
11 Hijrah They left to Arafah on 9 Zilhajja, and the Prophet's address (  his Last Sermon  ) was on Friday. The throwing of pebbles was on 10th Zilhijja. The Prophet addressed the Hujjaj in Mina and then the sacrifice followed. In the evening they returned from Mina to Macca. The return from Macca was on the night between 13th and 14th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah. The start of Usama's Army was on 26th Safar, 11 Hijrah. It was last Military expedition ordered by the Prophet.
12 th  Rabi al Awwal The end of Safar was the beginning of the Prophet's fatal disease in 11 Hijrah. The period of seriousness of disease and the stay in Hazrat Ayesha's room was 7 days upto the time of passing away. The last congregational prayer at the mosque and the last address was 5 days before passing away. The Prophet passed away on 12th Rabi al Awwal, 11 Hijrah and was buried in Hazrat Ayesha's room on the night between 13th and 14th Rabi al Awwal, 11 Hijrah.
The Prophet (pbuh) said Sahih Bukhari - Volume 1, Book 3, Number 73:  Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Prophet said, "Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases.  (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously;  (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others." The beginning of international call-letters to rulers was on 1st Muharram, 7 Hijrah.
  • 20. 6 & 7 Hijrah The Ghazwa Khyber was in Muharram, 7 Hijrah. The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Safia took place in Muharram, 7 Hijrah. The Abyssinian Migrants return in 7 Hijrah. Independent Muslim camps were established at Saiful Bahr in 7 Hijrah, by young Muslim men who were oppressed in Mecca but could not be allowed to stay at Madina according to Hudaibiya Treaty. The Quraish Carawan was raided by Saif ul Bhar in Safar, 7 Hijrah.
  • 21. 8 Hijrah The Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Maimuna took place in 7 Hijrah. The Ghazwa Mutah was in Jumada I, 8 Hijrah. Violation of Hudaibiya pact was in Rajab, 8 Hijrah. Hazrat Zainab, daughter of the Prophet and Ibrahim, the Prophet's son dies in 8 Hijrah. Zakat was organized in the beginning of Muharram, 9 Hijrah. The Ghazwa of Tabuk was in Rajab, 9 Hijrah.
  • 22. 9 Hijrah Deputation of Azra to Madina was in Safar, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Bahy to Madina was in Rabi I, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Khaulan to Madina was in Shaban, 9 Hijrah. Deputation of Thaqif to Madina was in 9 Hijrah. Hajj was prescribed and the first Hajj was under Hazrat Abu Bakr on 9th Zilhijja, 9 Hijrah.
  • 23. 10 Hijrah They left for Muzdalifa on 9th Zilhijja, after sunset. The twenty days' retirement of the Prophet in the last Ramazan was in 10 Hijrah. The last Hajj of the Prophet started from Madina on 26th Ziq'ada, 10 Hijrah. Entry into the sacred Mosque was on 5th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah. They left to Mina on 8th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah.
  • 24. 11 Hijrah They left to Arafah on 9 Zilhajja, and the Prophet's address ( his Last Sermon ) was on Friday. The throwing of pebbles was on 10th Zilhijja. The Prophet addressed the Hujjaj in Mina and then the sacrifice followed. In the evening they returned from Mina to Macca. The return from Macca was on the night between 13th and 14th Zilhajja, 10 Hijrah. The start of Usama's Army was on 26th Safar, 11 Hijrah. It was last Military expedition ordered by the Prophet.
  • 25. 12 th Rabi al Awwal The end of Safar was the beginning of the Prophet's fatal disease in 11 Hijrah. The period of seriousness of disease and the stay in Hazrat Ayesha's room was 7 days upto the time of passing away. The last congregational prayer at the mosque and the last address was 5 days before passing away. The Prophet passed away on 12th Rabi al Awwal, 11 Hijrah and was buried in Hazrat Ayesha's room on the night between 13th and 14th Rabi al Awwal, 11 Hijrah.
  • 26. The Prophet (pbuh) said Sahih Bukhari - Volume 1, Book 3, Number 73: Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Prophet said, "Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others."
