The Open Educational Practices in Scotland project aims to widen participation and transitions in education through open education and practices. It has engaged with over 50 partners through workshops, projects developing open educational resources (OER), and research. Current work includes producing exemplar OER courses on Parkinson's disease and end of life care, with plans for more OER on topics like seaweed and caring for water. The project also works to improve authoring tools to make creating OER more user friendly.
