★ ★ ★ "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE " ★ ★ ★
The "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE" promote solidarity and motivate the community,
people with HIV, their families, friends, people who are under the influence of prejudice, at increased risk for
HIV infection and are subject to discrimination, to join forces to provide respect for human rights, create a
tolerant environment in which to accept and appreciate diversity and to provide high quality and universal
access to social, legal and health protection for all people. Solidarity of society is the basis of acceptance of
personal responsibility and is essential for reducing stigma and discrimination and promote efficient and
transparent participation of vulnerable, disadvantaged and socially marginalized people in social processes .
The purpose of the campaign "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE" is to raise public awareness
about sexual and reproductive health, human rights, health safety, prevention and suppression of corruption,
violence, stigma, discrimination, torture, sexually transmitted infections and HIV in society. Exchanging
personal experiences with youth and public awareness of the social position of people with HIV, encourage
young people to get tested for HIV regularly used protection and engage in active promotion of healthy
lifestyles, tolerance, equality and respect for human rights, freedom and diversity sharing of information and
health education brochures, flyers, booklets and condoms.
Topics covered throughout the duration of the debate and the campaign are:
1 HIV in Serbia - statistics, media coverage and the way in which CSOs dealing with this problem;
2 What about HIV and knows he does not know (experience versus theory);
3 The normalization of life of HIV - positive people, society's attitude towards them in the public and private
spheres - perspectives;
4 As the state takes care of HIV - positive people - medical care, care, treatment ... employment opportunities;
5 Parallels the treatment of HIV in health care and the community;
6 Consider the possibility of transfer of best practices, networking and joint action.
The initiative to establish a national day dedicated to people living with HIV and AIDS has received the
support of the CPE of Serbia in line with the objectives previously defined Protocol of Cooperation signed
between the civil society organizations: the International Aid Network (IAN), Association to support women
affected with HIV, their families and friends "Women plus" , Association for the promotion of marital and non-marital
relationships (ALOHA), the Association for the help and support of people living with hepatitis
(Hepatitis -Hilfe), Association for the support of people with mental disorders and their families "soul", the
Association for the fight against cervical cancer (NIKA) and the Theatre "Arti craft" from Paris of France.
Protocol of cooperation is supported by the Institute for the Protection of Belgrade students, student health
centers in Belgrade, Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH).

The main objective of the Protocol is to contribute to improving the quality of life and social position of
people with HIV infection or AIDS, their families and friends, through their dedicated and responsible, active
participation in the system making processes, adoption, planning measures, implementation of activities,
evaluation of the results and implementation of new programs and policies in all segments of the community
and all levels of management including:
1. Initiating the creation of a common institutional framework for inter-agency cooperation and
participation in the process of establishing and maintaining institutional cross-sectoral dialogue
between the public, private and NGO sector in Serbia, which includes people with HIV;
2. Establishment of modern Internet technologies in business, improve communication and better
cooperation among people with HIV, civil society organizations and the community at large;
3. Organizing various activities such as lectures, panel discussions, workshops, debates, conferences,
seminars, plays, festivals, exhibitions, concerts, Summit, excursions, theme nights, study visits and
exchanges, in order to affirm the civil society, inter-sectoral cooperation and participation people
living with HIV and AIDS in society;
4. Media promotion of inter-sectoral cooperation and transparent implementation of other activities that
contribute to achieving the objectives for which the protocol was signed;
5. Lobbying, advocacy, advocating the rights of people living with HIV and
6. Initiating the establishment of the national day dedicated to people living with HIV and AIDS, which
contributes to increasing the visibility of people with HIV, and thus it is:
The campaign results
- Increased public awareness of the purpose of marking CLMD and the importance of prevention of sexually
transmitted infections and HIV
- Have been promoted healthy lifestyles, tolerance, equality, human rights, freedom and diversity
- The social position of people with HIV infection presented to the public in a creative way
- Establishment of a dialogue and cooperation between young people and local governments of inter-municipal

- Designed media promotion initiatives for establishing a national day dedicated to people living with HIV and
AIDS
- Created and distributed press releases, statements, reports, news and invitations to participants, the public and
the media
- Educated youth is 1000 and the same number of stakeholders held the discussions and presentations
- Empowered potentials, capacities, skills, knowledge and competencies of young
- Provided and distributed 5,000 condoms and 5,000 educational and informational flyers, brochures, posters

The previous campaign activity
1. Concert of world music producer Hi Profile of Greece in order to animate young people and their education in terms of
music culture and healthy lifestyles and distribution of brochures on key issues related to the prevention and combating
stigma, discrimination, torture, corruption, sexually transmitted infections and HIV and.
2. Artistic program " Education to Health and Understanding" with music, an exhibition of paintings by idle (i) I, and
debates for young people, "My Life with HIV " in order to attract young people, increase understanding and raise
awareness of young people and society to recognize the importance of and the importance of responsible sexual behavior
in prevention and reduction of violence, stigma, discrimination, torture, drug abuse, sexually transmitted infections and
HIV. human rights of people living with HIV.
3. Marking the International Day of Remembrance of the dead from AIDS and signing initiatives to establish a national
day dedicated to people living with HIV and AIDS, which promotes solidarity, tolerance, activist spirit and increases
visibility, and the rights and needs of persons with HIV infection or AIDS are recognized and respected in all segments of
the community
4. Debate on the fifth "FAIR CSO 2013 - Friendship - Partnership" conducted by the Agency for European Integration
and cooperation with associations with a view to presenting the activities of the Centre AS, exchange experiences,
establish cooperation with other CSOs and present the initiative to establish a national day of people HIV infection or
AIDS.
5. ADDICTED OPEN AIR B -DAY PARTY in order to celebrate the third birthday and to show young local Disc Jockey
and extreme sports, healthy lifestyle and raise awareness so that the problems of today's youth and adults with a wrong
understanding of urban culture.
6. Life Celebration Festival (LCF) is being held for the fifth time in order to unite the people and good friends , that
inspires us to share positive energy , love , light , understanding , honesty ... To play, have fun, feel good ... To know that
there are many reasons to feel good in our daily life. Do what you like best, and enjoy life in all its beauty.
7. Concert - Telepath - Partycipacija SPECIAL EDITION contribute to the equal participation of LGBT people in social
life. The objectives to be achieved by participation are safe spaces for LGBT people socialize , promote LGBT music and
performance artists , income to charity (benefit Participation ), collaboration with other groups in organizing events and
spread of Zagreb Pride and the other cities.
8. Countryside Jam Festival will be held for the second time and the AS Center of the lecture presented by service
providers and the opportunities we provide. Talked about the campaign "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE
FUTURE " basic information about HIV and AIDS prevention and the importance of testing, the mode of transmission of
HIV, risk behavior and prejudices that lead to stigma and discrimination against people with of HIV.
9. Exhibition of paintings by members of the AS Center ★ ★ ★ "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE " ★
★ ★ in association with Port Wenn included. The point is that the public closer to the problem and increase the visibility
of people with HIV ( PLHIV ) in Serbia and, together with the Porte Egal to focus public attention on related stigma and
discrimination against PLHIV and LGBT people. AS members of the Centre are trying to show society PLHIV in other,
better and more realistic light. The works exhibited Asovci Jelena Gavrajić aka Pantrljak , Nenad Lucic aka Dokon, Hope
Minović and Stevan Letić. This is the first time that Egal port opens the door for all, and this practice will continue in the
future.

How do we maintain
The "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE" includes young people from various socially marginalized
groups who maintain a public and open discussion with the community about the problem of stigma and discrimination,
with the participation of people with HIV, many activists, civil society organizations, government organizations and
institutions in the implementation of different preventive, educational, cultural, artistic and sports activities in Vrsac, Pula,
Zagreb and Belgrade. Young people have the opportunity to apply acquired knowledge with their peers who are
particularly vulnerable and sensitive so it is important that at this stage of development, to achieve confidence in them
acceptable manner that contributes to raising awareness about tolerance, acceptance, respect for diversity and contributes
to strengthening unity and therefore health and human rights.
What are innovative
Innovation campaign "PROTECT YOUR LOVE - SAVE THE FUTURE" is based on the exchange of skills and
knowledge of young people of different marginalized communities to promote sexual and reproductive health, human
rights, health safety, prevention of corruption, violence, stigma, discrimination, torture, sexual transmitted infections and
HIV in a society with cultural and artistic expression and socializing groups of young healthy people and people with HIV
infection or AIDS.
How do we use the resources available
Although no funding and numerous attempts to get the support of our efforts have shown results, but with a pronounced
enthusiasm, using personal resources, a desire to work together to influence the changes in society and the country more
beautiful and safer place to live we are conducting a number of activities to increase the visibility of people living with
HIV and AIDS in the society. Together within the healthy young and people with HIV influence the reduction of stigma
and discrimination in society. The campaign was established in collaboration with Youth in Vrsac (DOV), Life
celebration festival in Croatia Zagreb Pride. Cooperation was established with JP " SURČIN " public company for public
utility and other activities of general interest GO Surčin, JP tourism Surčin, Office for Youth, the youth organization
"Club H/O" from Boljevci association "soul" "For more than aid (AID +) " from Belgrade, Addicted Music Planet Team
and ESA Exiles from Vrsac, with whom he created campaign. We would like this to be an example of good practice
identified in the future, supported by the community and donors.
