- 6. Trail Markers With the help of an Eagle Scout candidate, Lenexa devised a new mapping and trail marking system using GIS information to enable trail users to report the location of an emergency. The new 911 trail marking system was tested as part of a pilot project coordinated with Mid-America Regional Council with plans to implement the program regionally in the future.
