The National Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day, first held on April 10, 2013, aims to educate and empower young people about HIV prevention and health responsibility, particularly among high-risk groups. The Protect Yourself 1 initiative offers programs such as Safe2Live and Project Arrowhead, focusing on culturally relevant education to reduce new HIV infections among youth, especially in underserved communities. Through interactive learning and community engagement, these programs seek to increase awareness and prepare a generation towards achieving an AIDS-free future.
