- 8. Rough Draft After completing your graphic organizer, you may begin writing your rough draft Remember: There should be 1 Opening Paragraph, 2-3 Body Paragraphs, and 1 Conclusion Paragraph. The Opening and Conclusion contain the thesis statement. Paragraphs should have between 4-6 sentences.
- 9. Editing and Revision After completing your rough draft, read over what you have read and ask these questions: Does it make sense? Did I stay on my topic? Did I support my argument from my thesis? Do I have any major spelling or grammar errors?
